Rajiv Nadadur

RajivNadadur_160x170Rajiv was first introduced to fencing in high school through Daniel Costin, and he quickly came to enjoy the competition, athleticism, and mental focus of the sport. He was a several time finalist and medalist at the local and national level through high school, and continued to fence competitively during his undergraduate years at MIT.

As captain of MIT's NCAA varsity fencing team, he led the team to several top finishes in the New England Division against some of the top fencing programs in the country, earning numerous personal and team honors along the way. After graduating MIT in 2010, he continues to fence casually. He firmly believes that fencing teaches many lessons applicable to all aspects of life, and hopes to instill his passion for the sport in others.

  • Apr.13-16,2012 - Championships & NAC, Virginia Beach, VA

    The April event organized by the United States Fencing Association is a combination of the Division I and Wheelchair Championships, and a North American Cup for Youth 10, 12 and 14. GERARD MORENO earned silver in both the foil and saber wheelchair events. MILA WOLPERT finished 12th in the Y14 event and earned her first rating. ERIC ARZOIAN finished top 24 in the Division I event and DARIEN JOSO finished top 32 in the Y14 event. Complete results.

     
  • 2012 Junior & Cadet World Fencing Championships, Moscow, Russia

    March 31 through April 8, 2012, Moscow is the host city for the Junior & Cadet Fencing World Championships. MICHAEL COSTIN of AGFC finishes 24th in the saber cadet event, 19th in the junior event and places 5th together with SASHA RYJIK, ELI DERSCHWITZ and JOHN HALLSTEN in the team event at the 2012 J/C Fencing World Championships.
